If you’re a Nebraska high school junior or senior who attends an EducationQuest Financial Aid Program before December 1, you will not only learn how to pay for college – you’ll also earn a chance to win a $500 scholarship!FAP_small

EducationQuest is conducting Financial Aid Programs across the state (find a program in your area). Each student who attends can register to win a $500 scholarship. Parents or guardians who attend may register on their student’s behalf.

EducationQuest will deposit the $500 scholarships into the winners’ NEST 529 College Savings Plan account. Winners who do not have an account will need to set one up. Find more scholarship details here.

During a Financial Aid Program, an EducationQuest representative will explain the types of financial aid, how to complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA), and how colleges award financial aid.

The programs are free and open to the public.

Information about financial aid and the FAFSA is also available on our website in the How to Pay for College section and in FAFSA Tools.

For free help with the FAFSA, contact the EducationQuest location nearest you to make an appointment: Kearney – 800-666-3721,  Lincoln – 800-303-3745, Omaha – 888-357-6300, or Scottsbluff — 800-303-3745, ext. 6654.
