If you missed the webinar, click on the link below to hear the entire presentation including a Q&A session. During the 60-minute presentation, you’ll learn:

    • Information about the McKinney-Vento Act – provides students in homeless situations equal access to the same free, appropriate public education as provided to non-homeless students.

    • The barriers homeless youths face – and how a youth is determined to be homeless.

    • About the new FAFSA dependency questions regarding homeless and unaccompanied youth – and what it means for their financial aid eligibility.

    • How to identify the homeless liaison in the high school or school district – and how to obtain the needed documentation.
